Nellie was full of surprises when she delivered puppies on Tuesday afternoon. Her fourth puppy arrived at 4:30 p.m. and we thought she was the last. At first, we thought she might be liver-colored, but instead she was dark green! After some cleaning she was still stained light green but it will soon fade to white. We went to bed thinking all was well, but Don got up in the middle of the night to let Nellie out and discovered a fifth puppy, who apparently took her time to make an entrance! All puppies are healthy, plump and good eaters!
