Seven weeks old and getting ready to celebrate Independence Day!

Over the last week, we've had some visitors and lots of attention. The puppies have learned a lot about bite inhibition from each other and the humans who handled them. While they still like to chew on anything they can, they are letting go quicker when their littermates squeal or we say NO! They love to play outside early in the morning, chasing each other and chewing on sticks and mesquite seed pods. Because of the heat, most of their time is spent inside playing in their pen and napping.  Vincent outweighs the girls by over a pound so usually comes out on top in a skirmish. The girls are identical in size but have different personalities. Venus is still a fireball and Valerie is a bit more calm, but she also has her moments!
